Dane is looking buff. But every comic knows there’s a line you don’t want to cross when it comes to building your body. And that’s the Piscopo Line.
I’m not gonna be one of those guys who S***’s on Dane. His comedy might be a bit frat-house-y but I’ve heard him a couple times on Stern and Carolla, and he’s not a bad guy. So, don’t hate the playa. Hate the aggressive comedy.

The week is young, but I promise you, this is the funniest thing you’ll hear all week.
Bryan Cranston is a great actor and Breaking Bad Is A Great Show.
But I have to tell you, he is one half of one of the greatest comedy teams of our time. Listen to this recent Adam Carolla Podcast episode.
If you’ve never listened to Adam’s podcast, you’ll hear why he’s the new Howard Stern: i.e., the greatest broadcaster of our time. You’ll also hear “Gay Eye.” And you’ll hear why Bryan Cranston is not just a great actor, he’s a great comedic partner for someone who knows what to do with him.

Looking for something to pass the time until work is over this afternoon? Comedienne, Daily Show correspondent, Concord flier and author Kristen Schaal sits down with the Aceman for a funny interview.

Paul F. Tompkins’ new podcast, The Pod F. Tompkast is out, and I listened to it this weekend.
It’s is exceedingly funny. It’s not just Paul sitting down in front of a microphone. He brings in bits from various places, including his weekly stage show. It sounds, in fact, a bit closer to an NPR-style show (I mean that is a good way) in terms of production than most podcasts do.
Highlight of the show: the Google Voice translation of Martin Luther King’s I Have a Dream speech.
I’ve definitely subscribed. You should too. By going here.
The Queen of Mean was on Carolla yesterday. You can listen here.
What I want to know is, why was Adam meeting with Ken Burns? Is there a 10-part PBS documentary on Comedy coming soon? If so, sweet!
It must be “embarrassing video from the past” week. Yesterday was Tina Fey, and today is Paul Rudd.
I actually heard about this video when Rudd was on the Kevin Pollak Chat Show. It turns out that slightly before becoming famous (in Clueless?) in the early 90s, Rudd was a bat and bar mitzvah DJ. (more…)
